This course helps you to familiarize yourself with the laws and contracts that regulate word of work in Finland and learns to apply them. After taking the course, the student knows the roles, responsibilities and obligations of the working parties and understands the meaning of collective bargaining.
The course deals with labor legislation, employment contract law, collective action law, the collective agreement system and other general regulations governing working life and their application at a general level. In addition, the different stages of the employment relationship and the legal and contractual basis affecting each of them are discussed, as well as the potential for the productivity and success of the company related to good cooperation, as well as the practices of working life.
The course strengthens the knowledge base needed for local bargaining and is suitable for anyone interested in the structures that guide working life.
