Introduction to adventure education 2 ECTS (FREE)

During this free online course, students will learn about the foundations, development and current status of adventure and outdoor education. Read more about Humak’s introductory courses.

Students conceptualize community educators’ different work fields and duties in adventure and outdoor education.

You will study what is meant by “adventure” in the context of adventure and outdoor education. Moreover, you will study the charactheristics of Finnish Adventure and Outdoor Education.

You will also get to know the various fields of adventure and outdoor education, such as youth work, organisational work, education, producing well-being services, as well as nature- and adventure-based entrepreneurship.
